Committee details

The Senior Appointments Committee is a sub-committee of the Shadow Authority and has responsibility for undertaking the selection process for the appointment of the permanent Head of Paid Service of the Westmorland and Furness Council before 31 December 2022.

It is also responsible for the selection process for the permanent Monitoring Officer and section 151 Officer of the Westmorland and Furness Council before 31 December 2022.

In relation to these appointments the Senior Appointments Committee is responsible for formulating recommendations to the Shadow Authority.
