To consider Report No: DoR 35/22 of the Chairman of Licensing Committee which seeks to provide general information on the activities of the Licensing Committee during the municipal year 2021 – 2022.

 

RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the report be noted.

Minutes:

At the beginning of this item the Assistant Director Legal and Democratic Services informed the meeting that despite originally intending on this item going to Annual Council, this will no longer be happening due to the change in the constitution removing the obligation to take this to Annual Council.

 

Members considered Report No: DoR: 35/22 of the Chairman of the Licensing Committee which sought to provide general information on the activities of the Licensing Committee during the municipal year 2021 – 2022.

 

Members raised a number of queries on the report, such as:

·        The process and procedure for registering to undertake house to house collections;

·        Which organisations had performing animal licenses;

·        The number of animal boarding licenses and pet shop licenses;

 

It was indicated that written responses would be circulated to these queries.
